MINT CHUTNEY

 
 
 
Mint Chutney

Ingredients:


Mint leaves - 1 bunch
Garlic - 3 cloves
Green chillies - 4 nos
Tamarind - small qty
Water as needed
Salt to taste

For Seasoning:

Oil - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dhal - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
 
 

METHOD


  • Wash and clean the mint leaves, pluck it from its soft stem.
  • Put leaves in the mixer and add all ingredients and grind it.
  • Grind it till chutney turns smooth.
  • Heat the oil and when it is hot, add the mustard seeds and urad dhal, when the seeds, finishes spluttering, add the curry leaves.
  • Quickly stir the mustard seed mixture into the grinded mixture.
  • Serve it with Idlis, Dosas etc.
