Ingredients:
Tomato – 5 nos
Garlic - 10 cloves
Oil - 1/2 cup
Mustard - 1 tsp
Asafoetida - a pinch
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Urad dhal - 1 tsp
Chilli Powder – 3 tbsp
Salt to taste |

METHOD
- Grind the tomatoes, garlic, salt to a fine paste.
- Heat oil in the pan, and season it with mustard, asafoetida, turmeric and urad dhal.
- Add the grounded paste and fry for a few seconds.
- Now add the chilli powder.
- Stir the contents till chutney becomes thick.
- Serve hot with Idlis, Dosas, White Rice, etc.
