Ingredients:
Kadala Parupu (Channa Dhal) - 2 cups
Salt to taste
Oil - 1 tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Asafoetida - a pinch
Urad dhal - 1 tsp
Curry Leaves - a sprig
Red Chilli - 3 nos
Green Chilli - 3 nos
Raw Mango - 1/4 cup (grated)
Coconut - 1/4 cup
Coriander - small qty (finely chopped) |

METHOD
- Soak Channa Dhal for 1 hour.
- Cook the dhal in pressure cooker with salt.
- Heat oil in a pan and add Mustard seeds, urad dhal, curry leaves and Asafoetida.
- Add the Red and Green Chillies to the pan.
- Now add the Cooked dhal and fry for a minute.
- Garnish with coconut and coriander.
