Ingredients:
Fish – 500 gms
Flour – 3 tbsp
Curd – 2 cups
Oil – 6 tbsp
Bay leaf – 1
Cardomom - 1
Cinnamon - 1
Ginger paste – 2 no
Onion paste – 1
Red chilli powder – 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Cummin powder – 1 tsp
Salt to Taste |

METHOD
- Cut fishes and roll pieces separately in flour and curd.
- Heat some oil in a pan and fry fish till pale golden.
- Drain and keep aside.
- Add remaining oil and fry bay leaf, cardamom and cinnamon.
- Add ginger, onion paste, chilli powder turmeric and cummin.
- A little water may be added if it becomes too dry. Fry for a while and add blended curd.
- Simmer on slow fire till oil comes up on top.
- Add fish with a little water and salt
- Simmer till gravy is thick golden.
- Serve curd fish with plain rice.
