Ingredients:
Plantain stem - 1 cup (finely chopped)
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 4 tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Asafoetida - a pinch
Red chilli - 2 nos (Splitted)
Onion - 1 no (finely chopped)
Ginger - 1 inch (finely grated)

METHOD
- Mix plantain stem turmeric powder, salt and set aside for an hour.
- Heat oil in a frying pan.
- Add mustard, asafoetida, chilli and fry.
- Add onion, ginger and fry for 2 minutes.
- Add plantain stem mix, fry till the stem gets cooked.
- Serve hot with rice.
