Coriander - 5 cups
Dry red chillies - 10 to 15
Oil - 3 / 4 cup
Tamarind - 1 small lemon size
Urid dhal - 2 tbsp
Asafoetida - 1 big size
Mustard seeds, urad dhal
Wash and chop the coriander with stem.in a tsp of oil roast the chillies and the given ingredients except coriander.
Now grind the roasted ingredients with coriander with little water to a smooth paste.
Pour the given oil and add mustard seed and urad dhal.once done add the grind paste and cook in medium flame till the sides leaves.if necessary add some oil.
NOTE : this thokku can be preserved for 1 month in fridge.this taste just like grandsweets thokku.
Adjust the spices according to your taste. (dont add more spices...not good for health)
