Coriander - 2 bunches
Dry red chillies - 8
Thil ( ellu) - 1 tsp
Urid dhal - 2 tbsp
Tamarind - small lemon size
Jaggery - 1 tsp
Oil - tsp
Asafoetida - 1big piece
Mustard seeds, urad dhal
Remove the stem of coriander and keep aside.now chop the coriander . Heat a kadai with a tsp of oil fry the given ingredients except coriander. Remove & keep aside. Add some more oil sauté the coriander till water absorbs.cool it.
Now grind all together with very little water.(or best way to grind is in ammikal. )
Remove & add the tempering. Store in fridge for 1 week. Very tasty with little spicy.
With the stem of coriander add 3 greenchillies with little tamarind and salt grind it into paste. Add the tempering. Best side dish for dosa. Can add 10 leaves of pudina also.....
