Every year thousands and thousands of people make New Year's resolutions that aim to make their lives better and brighter either to improve health, finances, career or self-improvement.


We’re conducting a New Year’s Resolution contest. Simply leave a reply with your New Year’s resolution, prize’s are waiting for the member who comes with best resolutions. The contest ends at the end of the year Dec 31st 2011. Prizes will be announced for the members in the 1st week of January 2012.

Thanks Ilavarasi akka, for this situation.

Few months back i gained few Kg’s in my Weight and i consultated Doctor, Doctor reported me that i am having PCOS because of that i gained my weight and she prescribed me some Medicines. After taking the medicines also didn’t loose my weight.

So my new year resolution is to follow these steps and to loose my Weight.

• Maintain a Proper Diet.
• Do exercise properly
• Sleep in Time
• Take Foods in Time
• Last one is more important, that is not to worry for silly things and be happy always.

During this summer month ...I felt very hot in my house compared to last year...
I'm unable to stay inside my house after power-cut...

one of the reason is nearby my house there was 2 big neem trees but it was fully destroyed ..now a building is standing in that place....

so I decided to plant trees...surrounding my house...
This is my resolution.
atleast 5 trees...

1) magizham poo maram
2) neem tree
3) pungam maram
4) navazhl palam maram
5) shenbagam poo plant

• Reading umpteen number of books to grain brain than being drain brain.
• Hygiene Surrounding: Even a bit thrown on the road corrupts other. So be careful to avoid.

Hi My dear friends,

I would like to have the following Resolution(s) in 3 kinds :

(A) FOR MY OWN IMPROVEMENTS:
I had learnt the Vedhathri Maharishi's 'Simplified Physical Exercise' to maintain my health and prevent ailments and 'Thavam' (Meditation - Aaginai, Thuriyam and Shanthi). But, to be frank, I am not at all doing the exercise and meditation. This amounts to 'குரு துரோகம்' and I am getting hurt. Hence, I made a resolution to strictly follow the physical and mental exercises as taught to me. Thus, I will maintain my health in good condition which will prevent the ailment (prevention is better than cure).

(B) TO MY FAMILY:
I am somewhat short-tempered and impatient to my son who is studying 6th Std. I am taking a resolution to be patient and to get rid off from my short-temper. This will definitely helpful in taking care of my son.

(C) TO THE SOCIETY:
Presently I am contributing Rs.200/- per month to an orphanage and I am going to increase the amount to Rs.500/- per month.

I never have had good experience with new year resolutions.. in yester years...
Resolutions and rules are meant to be broken.. and never worked out for me.. Let me see this year, i have something in my mind " weight loss". I dont know how it will work out, but i am determined to do it...

1. Give a part of my salary to one orphanage & one old age home in tnvli monthly and visit there once in two months.
2. Spend more time with mom, dad and sister.
3. Learn new technologies to shine in my carrier.
4. Sleep and take food at regular time.
5. Grow 3 colors of rose plant in my garden.
