Leg Lifts

This exercise is performed sitting down. Choose a good sturdy wooden chair and seat yourself with your back firmly against the chair back.

Place your feet together, keeping them flat on the ground in front of you. Now without any assistance from your arms, lift your legs up until they are level with your knees.

Then lower your feet slowly to the ground, returning to the original flat feet position. Repeat this exercise between twenty to twenty five times.

Keep your feet together and legs straight throughout this exercise, other than when you return your feet to the ground.
