Hi Smith, please consult yoga master for your problem. Do yoga under the guidance of competent yoga guru. Do pranayama and breathing exercises to get rid of back pain. When you feel back pain, lay on the floor and do breathing in and breathing out slowly steadily and consistently. Be happy. Be confident. while breathing in you say to your mind that oxygen is fed to the affected portion of your back and the pain is relieved and you are feeling better now. while breathing out you say to your mind that the pain has gone along with carbon di oxide which is going out. Like this you practice. your pain will be relieved. all the best. thank you!

The regular practice of yoga from a young age may probably avoid the onset of back pain. Using yoga as a cure needs proper guidance from a "Guru" and is to be supplemented by medical advice, perhaps by a physiotherapist.

Re: Yoga Exercises and its Benefits

If a regular practitioner of yoga needs to frequently travel by, say, a two wheeler on bad stretches of road like the one between Krishnagiri and Tiruvannamalai then the person will get a back ache nevertheless. Maybe even spondylosis. Some thoughts on changes to lifestyle, sitting or reclining posture, sleeping on a hard surface and so on will also help. [Missed this point in the previous post].
