    Dear Friends,

    This thread is to discuss the topic
    'Do you think yoga can reduce your stress from mind?'.

    As our living styles are getting tougher day by day which is a main cause of stress in our mind, can we decrease it by doing yoga or any other art of living??

    Hi Karthiga, definitely Yoga is reducing our stress level.

    To effectively combat stress, we need to

    activate the body's natural relaxation response.

    You can do this by practicing relaxation

    techniques such as deep breathing, meditation,

    rhythmic exercise, and yoga. Fitting these

    activities into your life can help reduce everyday

    stress and boost your energy and mood.

    Hi karti good morning...
    Definitely yoga will reduce the stress...
    How means

    Soul and mind will get peace while doing yoga...

    Before starting yoga we can chant OM for 27 times.....or 108 times.....OM is the power full mantra for yoga....

    And after finishing om chanting
    Sit in calm place and just listen it breathing for ten to fifteen mins...
    Daily do this in early morning and evening and do this yoga when u r in stress mood,

    life is so beautiful....

    Yeah, I do believe that yoga can change the stressful life. Today every one have stress may be related to their job, family and health.Every day practicing meditation or yoga will help to reduce our stress and our mind will be free from stresses. But we have to follow strictly otherwise it will be make any problems.Morning time is the best time to follow this activities. It can be managed by regular exercises or regular meditation or relaxation methods.

    Yoga is a general term comprising a vast number of practices designed to give maximum benefit to most of the organs of the human body. There are also some general yoga practices which are good for over all betterment of physical health. The yoga practices will be beneficial in many ways to the different organs concerned.

    One common factor will be the regulation of blood circulation to the concerned organ through the yoga practices meant for the concerned organ. There are some yoga practices to benefit the brain. Through the practice the brain improves and the circulation is regulated which helps to reduce the stress.

    It will be appropriate to consult some expert or good instructor. For stress the proper pranayaam or meditation will be more beneficial.

    Yes Karthi, I strongly believe yoga can certainly reduce our stress, and keep our mind & body fit.

    And I learned meditation in 'Manavalakalai Mandram' at Pondicherry. If you watch the video given below, you can know very well about the benefits of Yoga.

    Yes I think normal stress can be reduced by yoga.
