    Chapped lips home remedy

    1. Apply castor oil on the dry lips to make them smooth and pink.
    2. Avoid licking your lips. Saliva evaporates quickly, leaving lips drier than before you licked them. If you tend to lick your lips, avoid flavored lip balm - which may tempt you to lick your lips even more.
    3. Rub some honey to your cracked lips to heal them fast and retain their moisture.
    4. Make a pack of 1 tsp of glycerin, 1 tsp of lemon juice and 1 tsp of castor oil. Apply this on your lips and leave it overnight. Wipe it off with cotton dipped in water in morning. This heals your cracked lips within two days.
    5. Rub some mustard oil on the cracked lips to heal them fast. Mustard oil also prevents your lips from drying up.
    6. If you are facing severe chapped lips. Then apply crushed neem leaves on the lips. This will heal it quickly.
    7. Dry lips need a thick balm to help them retain moisture. The best solution for this is to apply milk cream. Apply milk cream on your lips to heal the lips and to keep them soft. Don't remove the milk cream with water. This will wash off the moisture. After removing the cream with cotton, take off all the dry skin left on your lips.

    Re: Chapped lips home remedy

    • 1 teaspoon of apricot kernel oil
    • 1 teaspoon of calendula oil
    • 1 teaspoon of beeswax
    • Lemon, lime, or orange essential oil. Choose the one you like, you will need a few drops.
    • Melt the beeswax and add the apricot and calendula oils
    • Stir the whole time so the mass is consistent
    • Remove from heat, keep stirring and let it cool down a bit
    • Add the oil of choice and stir a bit more
    • Pour in a plastic container or jar and store properly
