How to add image to a thread or post?

I had seen some members face problems in attaching images to the post. Let me explain it detail here. There are 3 ways to attach a image.

1. Insert image from your computer. (RECOMMENDED)
2. Insert image through url. (RECOMMENDED)
3. Copy and paste images from websites.(NOT RECOMMENDED)

1st and 2nd option is good for attaching image, because the image will be saved in our server, in the 3rd option the image will not be saved in our server, it will be displayed from the server(site) where you copied.

1. Insert image from your computer (RECOMMENDED)

• To insert image from the computer select "image" from the toolbar.

• Click "From computer" in the dialog box.

• Click "Select Files", and choose the files you need.

• Click "Upload File(s)".
• 
• The file(s) will be inserted in to the thread/post.

2. Insert image through url (RECOMMENDED)

• To insert image from the url, first copy the url of the image. (You can copy image url by right clicking the image and select, "Copy Image URL" if it is Chrome, or "Copy Image Location" if it is Firefox.
• Select "image" from the toolbar, click "From URL".
• Paste the URL in the box, be sure that whether "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" is checked.

• Click "Ok".
• The file will be inserted in to the thread/post.

3. Copy and paste from websites. (NOT RECOMMENDED)
The third option is just copy and paste from websites. The disadvantages is listed below,

• The copy and pasted will not be saved in our Penmai Server. So if the file is removed from the site where you have copied. The image in the Penami.com will also be removed (i.e. pasted image)
• You cannot copy and paste from email's, yahoo groups, and so on which requires login.

Hope this clears you all. If you have doubts please ask.

Note: To make the image size bigger, double click the image and select medium, large or full size and click OK.
