    Does Skin Problem create Depression, Anxiety and Suicidal Feelings??

    You always feel a high when you look good. The out flashing beautiful skin can make anyone your admirer.. but when you are facing some skin disorder then this high esteem suddenly lowers down. Its a phase that disturbs not only teens but even adults. In most of the cases, problems of acne, rashes, moles or lines and wrinkles are taken as a difficult period. And sometimes, this inferiority complex leads to various psychological disorders such as depression which causes anxiety and at times, you may even think to do suicide.

    Moreover, when a person is depressed then he/she is likely to bother the least to look even into the mirror. They hardly care to wash their face before sleeping and applying their daily lotion and night creams. And, this results in poor personality which slowly ruins their outlook. And when these people start getting constant low remarks for their shabby appearance, then out of a sudden they get conscious. To add to this, if the situation is out of their control then they get really anxious. They keep on worrying that now no one will like them.

    Its still fine till the time you are anxious, but when you restrict yourself totally from socializing.. then ultimately you start getting many negative thoughts which at times, make you to develop a chain-like series... You feel like killing yourself and getting relief from all problems. And all in all, you set a negative psychology in your mind.

    There are some very good advice that the experts give to overcome this phase. First of all, try to pump up your morale. Think that skin disorders are not an end of life. They can be treated, if taken proper care. Drink lots of water and fruit juices. Flaunt your hobbies and try some extra co-curricular activities. Do some exercises as this is going to bring your moods to a happy mode, plus will also help to improve your blood circulation.

    Start giving yourself attention as you always use to do. Pamper yourself with various activities and stay in the company of people who encourage you. Thus, the sooner you will overcome your stigma, the sooner you will recover. Take Care!!

    Karthi.......well said.

    Another thing. This problem is vice-versa. That is, if we have certain worries, we might have skin problems. So, better, let us be happy always.
