Dear Dr., I have a doubt....A Homoeopath told me that taking soyabeans may trigger depression in us....I have also heard that soya contains natural estrogen and so it's good for middle aged women (in their menopausal stage of life)....so , it is good to avoid soya in our diet? If we can eat soya , how many times a week? Please clarify....waiting for a reply from you.....Thanks in advance...

Is there any symptoms like chest infection, urinary tract infection or tooth-ache which are the more common infections during pregnancy.

Was it routine blood check or because of the symptoms did they check.

Without any symptoms, found out during routine check & no fever don't bother.
If there is fever with symptoms related to teeth, urinary tract or simple cough& cold, you need to take antibiotic.

    Hi Krithika
Then you needn't worry. Urinary infection is very common during pregnancy because of growing uterus, pressing on Bladder & urethra causing inadequate emptying of the bladder -Urine stagnation- infection. Nothing to worry. You can go ahead with the antibiotic ( That too 2 nd trimester- no problem).
    Be happy & enjoy.

    Hi Shanthi
Usually they advice to take more soya for young girls & middle-age women to strengthen the bones & prevent osteoporisis in later age because of low Estrogen. There is n o limit in the intake since it i9s usually supplememted in less amts only, we don't consume them like Thuvarai & Ulutham paruppu . So that little qty is not going to affect anyway.
I'll confirm further & get back to you.

    Hi Nandhini
    Don't worry.
PCOD is easily treatable cause & once you are treated then you'll conceive. Initially they'll try with medicines & if not cured then may go for Laparoscopy. But your sizes are small to be treated easily.
Then Adenomyosis has to be followed up further. I'll get the correct advice from Obstetricians & let you know earliest.
Good luck, You'll have baby soon.

    Hi Priya
Are you below 30 yrs or above 30? Are you married?
It is normal in less quantity for all women.
But if the discharge is stinking or if you have itching in that area then it is with infection , which needs to be seen by the Lady Doctor.
The discharge around 14 days is because of Ovulation
