    Re: 2 months pregnant

Hi Pavi.Kannan, welcome to penmai and hearty congrats on your pregnancy...

Have you seen your GP or any nurse practitioner...? Do get their advice first... If you are here in UK... I guess you would'nt have had any scans yet...!!

Generally it is safe to travel in the second trimester... You will have to make sure you are well hydrated and also do the in flight excercises and keep yourself mobile in a long haul flight... Best to avoid outside food also...

I would advise you to book an appointment with GP and follow their advice...

Best wishes and have a safe flight if you decide to go ahead and travel..

    Hi priya,
    Thanks.
Yes i have seen the gp and had urine test and blood tests done.
She is telling it is safe to travel.
As you rightly pointed out,i haven't had my scan yet.they said scan will be taken only during 12th week.
Since my husband's visa expires,i have to travel at any cost and no second thoughts in staying back here.during my travel i will be 10 weeks.
So i'm very much worried that my travel should be safe.
    Pls advice..

    Thanks,
    Pavithra
