Re: Ask Women's Center for Pregnancy & Labor Questions

Hei, I am Durga, living in Norway for work. I am 32 years old & diabetic type 2. Taking Insulin. I need some clarification on my pregnancy (first baby & girl child) 31 weeks condition. My height is 154cm. These are the results on my check up. BP is 115/70, Weight is 59kg (50kg on conception), Sugar level HA1bc is (6,0 mol/l) 108 mg/l. The belly curve is located at 27cm. Protein in Urine is negative. Gynacologist told that placenta level is normal & Blood flow to baby is quite normal. Baby weight was 1.360Kg at 28th week. I started to feel acid reflux(so that i feel to skip the foods), more weight in the evenings (My tummy becomes tight in the evening). Is everything in good condition? Please clarify. Thank you in advance . I am in 8th month now.

    Hai,

We need to know your age, married since how many years and regarding your periods. Both of you need to be evaluated. Don't worry you will definitely get pregnant.

    Hai Pavi,

Pregnancy causes normal changes in thyroid function Decreased / Increased thyroid hormones are treated with medicine every 6 months thyroid profile test should suffice with a endocrinologist review. Post delivery kindly review with your endocrinologist.

    Hai,
Please maintain a kick count chart / rope. A baby when most active has 10 kicks, flutters, swishes or rolls for 2 hours. Which is recorded as notches/knots. eg. Monday 9.00AM xxxxxxxxxx 9.32AM;Total 32mins.It ensures that your baby is healthy and reduces your panic
