• Fenugreek is very effective in preventing dandruff, hair fall and baldness.
• Soak fenugreek seeds in water overnight and grind it into a fine paste the following morning.
• Leave this paste applied on the scalp for 30 to 45 minutes and then wash it with a mild shampoo.
  
• Do not allow your hair to remain wet for a long time. Leaving the scalp wet for a long time facilitates growth of dandruff.

The best remedy is a hot oil treatment, which can do wonders for your dandruff affect your hair. Do massage with combination of sesame and olive oil warm at bedtime. The next day, an hour before taking a bath, apply a mixture of vinegar and lime juice. Wash your hair carefully and use lemon juice mixed with warm water during the final rinse.

Applying sour curd as a pack to scalp and hair , once in a week prevents formation of dandruff.

Mix moong dal (green gram) powder with curd and massage it to on the scalp. Wash it off after 1 hour. This helps to prevent hair loss and dandruff. It also helps to increase hair growth.
