My kids are not eating any Indian foods since they stayed most of the time in Daycare and Home made food is not allowed there. Now I am suffering daily to feed them. Their choice is only Maccoroni & cheese everyday. Any ideas to introduce our food to my kids?

You can can try initially with indo-American style. My kid likes cheese and also prefers American foods, so I add cheese wherever possible. I make cheesedosa, cheese-carrot dosa. Stuffed chapathi is also another choice.
If your kid has some fav veg or fruit, you can try adding with our food.

Hi RC , How old r ur kids now ?

Try indian food with less spice and chilli .......... As their taste bud is now tuned to a blander diet you cant feed them regular food cooked for adults ....
Make it interesting too .... In terms of texture and colour .......
Also one thing i noticed with my daughter is they don't like gravies ... so instead of rasam , sambhar can make kalandha sadham - carrot rice , keerai rice , lemon rice , tomato rice , etc .........

Now that they have a set habit it is gonna be a challenge but it is not impossible .....You will have to be creative and spend time ..........

Make veggie cutlets with nuts etc - call it veggie nuggets.......

Make rasam with tomato and or lemon juice .... do not use much rasam powder .... Call it soup indian style .......

Can make fried rice with carrots , peas , sweet corn etc - the colour combo and flavour will entice the kid .........

Most importantly kids are mirrors ..they reflect what they see ........... so eat ur dinners together and show them that indian food is tasty and healthy ........
