    Cure Cracked Heels

    Apply pulp of ripe banana on the cracked area of the heel. This pulp is kept for about 10 minutes and then it is cleaned.

    Daily application of mixture of glycerine and rosewater is great home remedy for cracked heels.

    BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS

    1. No Breakfast
    People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level.
    This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.

    2. Overeating
    It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.

    3. Smoking
    It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.

    4. High Sugar consumption
    Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.

    5. Air Pollution
    The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.

    6. Sleep Deprivation
    Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells.

    7. Head covered while sleeping
    Sleeping with the head covered increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.

    8. Working your brain during illness
    Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.

    9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts
    Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.

    10. Talking Rarely
    Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain.

    How To Get Rid Of Hiccups


    Hate them or super hate them, you just cannot avoid them. Hiccups are one of the most common problems faced by most people. There can be several causes for hiccups. Whatever be the reason, they may cause you discomfort but more than that, embarrassment. However it is nothing that we do not have a solution to. Read below to find out how to get rid of hiccups.

    1. Water
    Always water! A glass of water seems to be the solution for almost any problem. It will specially work in case of hiccups. In fact, when you are hiccuping, water is the first solution that you should consider. Take a mouthful of water and before swallowing, close both your ears. Once you do that, slowly swallow the water. Now open your ears and you will find your hiccups have disappeared. You can also sip warm water or ice cold water slowly to get rid of hiccups.

    2. Homemade medicine
    If water doesn’t work, this homemade medicine should. Mix a teaspoon of honey, lime juice, ginger juice and a pinch of pepper together. Slowly consume this solution part by part and your hiccups will soon be gone. Magically!

    3. Breathing Exercise
    First hold your breath as long as you can. Then let it out. This will cause your lungs to expand, as a result it will reduce the hiccups really fast.

    4. Ginger
    Cut small pieces of ginger and put them in your mouth. Chew them slowly. The ginger extract will cause hiccups to stop immediately.

    5. Vinegar
    Take a teaspoonful of vinegar and mix it with some sugar. The sour taste of the vinegar is a monster that will scare off your hiccups within no time.

    6. Forget about them
    Last but not the least, simply talk to someone and totally forget about your hiccups. Hiccups act sometimes like mischievous children. If you don’t pay attention to them, they will automatically stop in sometime.

    Do not take medicine with milk


    The sentence we often hear when we want to take medicine. Why milk should not be mixed with the drug?

    Drugs or antibiotics are consumed orally can be effective for a person if consumed and absorbed by the body. Oral medication must be absorbed through the digestive tract so that it can enter the bloodstream and sent to hurt area. There are several factors that affect the body’s ability to absorb medications very well, including the relative acidity in the stomach, the presence or absence of fat nutrients or other nutrients, and whether there are certain elements such as calcium. Some drugs in the family of antibiotics, containing tetracycline that will react with the milk.

    Calcium which found in milk will bind drugs or antibiotics that prevent absorption into the body. In addition, there is a good drug consumed before and after meals. This is because the food you eat can affect drug absorption. Therefore, the best thing to do is follow the instructions written on the package and don’t forget to asking to the pharmacist if necessary.

    So what about coffee, tea or juice?

    Coffee, tea and juices have variety compounds, such as caffeine in coffee, which can affect drug absorption. So the best thing is take drug with fresh water. Because water does not contain compounds that could interfere drug absorption
