Healing Teas to Soothe Sore Throat and Cold

Cinnamon tea:
The strong aroma of this spice helps decongest the respiratory system. It also has anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties that help soothe the inflammation. Add a few pieces of cinnamon to your brewing tea and sip on it while itís still hot.

Ginger tea:
This herb contains at least a dozen anti-viral compounds along with a few antioxidants that help treat sore throat, cold and any kind of inflammation of the mucus membranes. It also works great in treating fever and headaches. Simply add a concentrated mix of shredded ginger to your milk tea or brew it with water and a little honey to sip on a herbal concoction.
