    Cinnamon comes from the grated bark of an evergreen tree. A quick search of the Internet shows that cinnamon claims the following health benefits:

    Health Claims After Drinking Cinnamon and Honey

    Typical claims of benefits that you will find for drinking this concoction include:

    1. Use honey and cinnamon in a 1:2 ratio (one part cinnamon, two parts honey)

    3. Boil one cup of water.

    Can You Lose Weight With Honey and Cinnamon?

    There is no magic bullet for weight loss. Honey and cinnamon both can be beneficial to health, but no studies back up the claims made about this miracle weight-loss aid.

    Like other weight loss aids, you may want to take this one with a grain of salt. It’s true that cinnamon can positively control blood sugar; however, taking it with honey – which has the opposite effect on blood sugar – seems as if one effect would cancel out the other.

    It won’t hurt to try it, but it is highly doubtful that it will result in the phenomenal weight loss promised. As always, the key to weight loss is eating a healthy, controlled diet and exercising. By making sure that you burn more calories than you eat, you will be well on your way to a healthier body without needing to resort to magical cures.
