    Myrobalan - Ink Nuts(Kadukkai) - The magical ingredient in myroblan, that helps all these ailments, is a chemical called chebulinic acid. This chemical gives myroblan its sour taste, as well as its medicinal properties. In addition the herb also comprises tannic acid, gallic acid, resin and some purgative principle of the nature of anthraquinone.

    Regular consumption of powdered cherubic myrobalan in the evening helps in correcting disordered processes of nutrition by which the organism ingests, digests, absorbs, utilizes and excretes food substance and restores the normal function of the system.

    The paste of its fruit is effective in reducing swelling, hastening the healing process and cleansing the wounds and ulcers.The paste gives relief to the eyelids, in case of conjunctivitis.

    The herb is used in preparing ‘Triphala’ that is used for hair wash, brush teeth in pyorrhea and treat bleeding gums.It is a good nervine and helps in nervous weakness and nervous irritability and promotes the receiving power of the five senses.

    Just chew a piece of myroblan or its powder every night, will reduce your breathing problem to the minimum.

    The herb brings wonderful relief to hair graying or hair falling problems. If you can't believe this, just take the paste of the fruit and mix it in coconut oil l and boil till the herb gets dissolved in the oil. Filter the oil and preserve it in a bottle. Just apply this oil on your scalp daily and massage it. Alternatively you can rinse your hair in diluted decoction before taking bath.

    Melon Fruit - Melon is still a family with pumpkin and cucumber. In general, its color is bright yellow or green. It is very refreshing, and usually eaten as a dessert.

    Melon is included fruits that contains lots of water. It also contains quite high vitamins A, B, C, carbohydrates, minerals and protein. In addition, there are nutrients that are composed of iron, calcium, phosphorus and iron that have the amount of the ingredient.

    Water content is useful to give a lot of fluid in the body. And because it feels fresh and cool, melon fruit is also able to give a sense of cool in the body. Another benefit of a melon is to make the digestive tract becoming more fluent because the minerals in these fruits can reduce the acidity in the body and rid of constipation.

    Stroke also can be prevented by diligent eating a melon. Because melons have the ability to dilute the blood clot that has clotted as a cause of stroke. Similarly, the cancer, kidney disease, and eczema can be avoided through the melon.

    Meanwhile, for people that often get sprue, it can be treated eating melon with other fruits. For example, apple,grape, or tomatoes. In addition, from its abundant water content, melon can be used to accelerate adiuretic.

    Chayote/Mirliton (Chow Chow) - They are relatively good source of B-complex vitamin, folates. Folates are important in cell division and DNA synthesis. When taken adequately before and during early pregnancy, it can help prevent neural tube defects in the newborn babies.

    Chayotes contain small levels of aglycone flavonoid poly-phenolic antioxidants such asapigenin and luteolin. These compounds help scavenge harmful oxygen-derived free radicals and reactive oxygen species (ROS) from the body that play a role in cancer, aging and various disease process.

    It helps iodine in keeping the thyroid healthy by providing Copper, mineral linked in thyroid metabolism, especially in hormone production and absorption. And It is a good source of Zinc,a mineral which has shown to influence hormones which controls the production of oil in the skin.

    Chayote is very low in calories; provides just 16 cal per 100 g and contains no saturated fats or cholesterol. However, it is rich a source of dietary fiber, anti-oxidants, minerals, vitamins. Being a low calorie vegetable, it is often recommended by dietitians in cholesterol controlling and weight reduction programs.

Xanthones are found only in a few tropical plants, and mangosteen is the richest source. It have been shown to have several benefits, including anti-inflammatory properties, anti-allergic, and anti-convulsant abilities.

    It helps to combat pain (anti-inflammatory property which may decrease inflammation, pain and joint damage linked with arthritis, or pain caused by sports workout and minor injuries).
