    BROWN FLAXSEEDS offer not only a good taste, but lots of Health Benefits as well. You can add brown flaxseeds to your breakfast smoothies, soups, and baked foods or sprinkle it over cereals and salads. They are found in various forms like whole form, oil form and ground form. Flaxseeds in their whole form are not easy to digest, so prefer to use in ground form only.

    Good info. Karthi.......one more info. about this Flax seeds. It helps in the reduction of LDL CHOLESTEROL, thus helps us reduce overweight.

    Ginger :

    Herbal Healers - Sesame Seeds

    Sesame seeds or Til being lubricious in nature, is quite beneficial for the cold weather. It provides good nutrition and helps in reducing dryness from the body systems.

    In Ayurveda text, Til is said to be ‘Yogvahi’ which means that it helps to enhance the properties of the products with which it is taken.

    Til helps to subside the Vatta dosha or Air body humor which when aggravated cause a number of ailments like roughness of the skin, muscular and joint pains, dryness in the hair etc.

    Body massage with til tailam (Sesame seeds oil) is highly recommended in the cold climate. This helps in removing dryness, acts as an energy booster and also helps to sub side pain. This could be favorable in many skin ailments.

    dear gkarti, there is no equivalent herbs to ginger in giving relief for upset stomach, constipation, bloating and gas. you have rightly brought out. thanks
