    Healthy Tomato-Hearty Tomato

    A TOMATO is red and usually has four chambers,just like
    our heart. Tomatoes are also a great source of lycopene, a
    plant chemical that reduces
    the risk of heart disease and
    several cancers.

    The Women’s Health Study – an
    American research
    programmed which tracks the health of 40,000 women
    – found women with the highest blood levels of lycopene had 30 per cent
    less heart disease than women who had very little
    lycopene.

    Lab experiments have also shown that lycopene helps
    counter the effect of
    unhealthy LDL cholesterol.
    One Canadian study,
    published in the journal Experimental Biology and
    Medicine, said there was convincing evidence that
    lycopene prevented coronary heart disease.

    8 Steps To Cure Constipation Naturally~

    1.Drink 8-10 glasses of water daily. It is very important to keep the intestines working well. Keep the water overnight in a copper vessel and drink it when you wake up in the morning.

    2.Put a teaspoon of ghee in a glassful of warm milk. Drink it when going to bed. It is very helpful in relieving from constipation.

    3.Go for morning walk by having 2-3 glasses of warm water. This will prevent constipation and clear bowel movements.

    4.Include fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables in your diet. Papaya and sugarcane are especially beneficial. Tomato and beetroot salads are also very useful in constipation relief.

    5.Apples are very beneficial in treating constipation. Eat two apples every morning. Bite them with the teeth instead of using a knife to cut them into slices.

    7.Papaya and guava are also useful in treating constipation. Regular intake of papaya at early morning in an empty stomach prevents constipation.

    Drinking water at the correct time Maximizes its effectiveness on the
    Human body :

    1 glasses of water after waking
    up - helps activate internal organs

    1 glass of water 30 minutes before a meal -helps digestion

    According to this widely circulated health warning, people should not eat raw or left-over onion because onions are "poisonous".

    The fact is that onions are not especially prone to bacterial contamination. In fact, quite the opposite. Onions feature a variety of sulphur compounds that have antibacterial activity. Furthermore, cutting an onion triggers the release of enzymes that initiate a chemical reaction producing propenesulfenic acid, which in turn decomposes to yield sulphuric acid.

    It is the sulphuric acid that makes you cry by irritating the eyes! But sulphuric acid also inhibits the growth of bacteria. Also, a cut onion's surface dries out quickly, reducing the moisture that is needed for bacteria to multiply.
