    Fibre has many benefits, including being good for heart health as it can help with managing cholesterol, and helping maintain healthy digestion.

    Foods high in fibre take longer to be digested, therefore, keep you feeling fuller for longer, so you may reduce your overall food intake as you feel more satisfied, so yes they would be recommended as part of a weight loss diet.

    If you donít already eat much fibre, increase your intake gradually to reduce the chances of any stomach discomfort, and make sure to drink enough fluids so the fibre can absorb this and do its job properly.
