    Our blood is the most important component of Human Body. It can create problems when it becomes too thick. High Blood Pressure is one such health issue and to deal with it, we need Foods that act as Natural Blood Thinners.

    Letís get in some more details before going for the list of foods. Your body at times stops the flow of blood suddenly and forms a clot. Its presence in the veins can be really dangerous. If lots of clots get blocked in your brain then a stroke can occur. And if they are lodged in the heart then one may get a heart attack. The reason of the formation of these clots vary from hereditary to lifestyle reasons.     Salicylates:
    These are aspirin-like substances that block the absorption of vitamin K (a nutrient that promotes blood clotting). So, salicylates help in blood thinning aim. The spices rich in this element are curry powder, cayenne pepper, ginger, paprika, cinnamon, turmeric, licorice and peppermint. The fruits series rich in it are raisins, prunes, cherries, cranberries, grapes, oranges, tangerines and strawberries. Other foods include honey, vinegar, red and white wine and avocados.

    Vitamin E: This nutrient also works against the absorption of vitamin K. So the foods rich in it help to thin your blood. It includes most nuts, mainly almonds and walnuts, all vegetable oils, chickpeas, lentils, wheat, rice, oats, mangoes and tomatoes.

    Omega-3 fatty acids: Foods rich in this nutrient help to prevent heart diseases by reducing the chances of blood clotting. It mainly involves flax seed oil, walnuts, canola oil and pumpkin seeds and fish like salmon, herring, mackerel and lake trout and fish oils like cod liver oil.

    Antibiotic foods: Foods like ginger and garlic are excellent natural antibiotic foods. Add them to your daily diet, for sure. You can also take 2-3 cloves of raw garlic early in the morning with warm water. Make sure you are empty stomach. This remedy works excellent for the victims of high blood pressure (with thick blood).

    Other foods: Some other foods also help in this aim. It includes Bromelain herb, Cinnamon, Dill, Vitamin B6-rich foods, Gingko biloba.

    Water and Exercise: Drink lots of water as it prevents the thickening of blood. Exercising vigorously for about 30 minutes daily also benefits your health in this case.


    Foods to Avoid

    You need to stay away from the foods rich in Vitamin K as this nutrient is known well to thicken the blood, which can prove fatal for your health condition. Vitamin K is found in abundance in green veggies like parsley, kale, spinach, Brussels sprouts, Swiss chard, green beans, asparagus, broccoli, mustard greens, turnip greens, collard greens, thyme, romaine lettuce, sage, oregano, cabbage, celery, sea vegetables, cucumber, leeks, cauliflower, tomatoes, and blueberries.

    Its not that you have to completely eradicate these foods from your diet. Just make sure, that these foods do not become a part of your daily diet, you can have them once in a while.. Try to avoid them as much as you can!!
