Yes IUI is very safe and the baby look more healthy than the normal baby.
Your husband's sperm is first washed and only good and active sperm is injected this provides chromosomal defects or any birth defects.
A catheter is used to inject the washed sperm directly into the uterus. This process maximizes the number of sperm cells that reach the uterus and fallopian tubes and thus increases the possibility of conception. The IUI procedure is quick and is usually painless.USHA

What usha said is correct. There will be no difference between the normal baby and IUI baby. Even the IUI baby will be healthy comparing to normal.
