    An Ideal Bedroom



    Your bedroom is the most important room in your home as it is the room where you spend the most time. You will want to make your bedroom not only sedate, but inviting to anyone you invite into this room.

    Consider these things when decorating your bedroom: color, furniture and decorative items, bed placement, floor accent, lighting and comfort.

    The colors that you paint on the walls of your bedroom should be soft, subtle and soothing. You should go with light pastels in soothing earth tones or blues so that the room seems more sedate. Look for the calming, cool colors when painting a bedroom, instead of vibrant, warm colors. This can make a big difference when it comes to sleeping.

    The bed is obviously the focal point of the room. It should be positioned in such a way that gives more space to the room or fills the space as needed. If you want to have more space, place the bed against the longest wall in the room. If your room is too big on the other hand and you want to fill up the space for a more intimate feel, place the bed at an angle.

    Take a look at the furniture in the bedroom – does it match the head frame and foot board of the bed? It does not have to be a perfect match, but it should be in the same family. If the head frame is very modern, the furniture in the room should also be modern. If the head frame is an antique, then the furniture such as dressers and end tables, should also be antique or at least they should have an antique look. This will make the room look properly coordinated and pulled together.

    Accent the floor with lush area rugs, especially next to the bed. It’s nice to wake up to a soft cushion under your feet. Area rugs are available in different designs that can suit your bedroom’s theme. The colors can also be calming with shades of light colors.

    Lighting should be sedate. Look for low watt light bulbs. You might also want to install a dimmer switch so that you can get the lighting just right for your bedroom and make it more inviting. You should use lamps that match the decor of the room.

    Keep away from sharp objects such as books and television sets in the bedroom. This can make it difficult to sleep. A bedroom is not a place for a bookshelf. While many people have TV sets in their bedrooms, it is best to use your bedroom for sleep only and not for TV viewing if you want to make your bedroom more inviting and also enable you sleep better.

    நல்ல தகவல் பதிவு......உறங்கும் அறையில் நல்ல காற்றோட்டம் இருந்தால் உடல்நலம் குன்ற வாய்ப்பு இல்லை .....ஒரு நாளைக்கு ஏறக்குறைய எட்டுலிருந்து பத்து மணிநேரம் உறங்கும் அறையில் செலவு செய்கிறோம்....வேலைக்கு செல்லும் மகளிர்க்கு உறங்கும் நேரம் சற்று குறைவுதான்.. படுக்கை உறை மற்றும் தலையணை உறையை ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட கால இடைவெளியில் மாற்றுவதும் நலம் பயக்கும்... மெல்லிய இசையுடைய தாலாட்டும் பாடல்களை கேட்டுவிட்டும் உறங்கலாம்.. மேலும் ஒரு சில நல்ல மனதிற்கு மகிழ்வூட்டும் புகைப்படங்களை உறங்கும் அறையில் மாட்டிவைப்பதும் நல்ல உணர்வை தரும்....
