    sunburns

    important:

    sunburns-quote_sun_damage.jpg sunburns-ss_fan2012898.jpg
The sun radiates light to the earth, and part of that light consists of invisible ultraviolet (UV) rays. When these rays reach the skin, they cause tanning, burning, and other skin damage.

Even on cloudy, cool, or overcast days, UV rays travel through the clouds and reflect off sand, water, and even concrete.

    Re: sunburns

A sunburn can sneak up on kids, especially after a long day in the hot sun. Kids develop an "after-burn" later that can be painful and even make them feel sick..These include reddish skin and skin that is hot to the touch. If blistering occurs, severe burns have already occurred and one should get out of the sun as soon as possible.

    home remedies for sunburns

    1.aloe vera gel

The thick, gel-like juice of the aloe vera plant can take the sting and redness out of a sunburn. The gel should be applied atleast four or five times a day.

    2. using a wet towel

Soak a washcloth in cool water and apply it directly to the burned areas.
Add two spoons of baking soda to the water and let it soak in the cool water for 20 minutes before dipping the cloth.

    3. yoghurt

Drink a full glass of chilled yoghurt to cool your body.
It can be applied on the sunburns too..

    4. coconut oil

Applying coconut oil gently to the dry and reddish skin several times a day.

    5.Blended potato

Take two washed potatoes, cut them into small chunks, and place them in a blender or food processor. Blend or process until the potatoes are in liquid form. Add water if they look dry. Pat the burned areas with the pulverized potatoes. Wait until the potatoes dry, then take a cool shower.

    6. drink plenty of water to get clear urination.
