    Stitching after normal delivery

Hi all I delivered a baby boy of feb 22 by normal delivery. Dr put stitches after delivery. I am getting severe pain on stitching place. How to reduce this pain? When this stitch will be removed?

    Welcome to Penmai....Selvi.

Congrats for your new born Boy baby.

The doctor would have told you , when to meet her to remove the stitches...

If it is paining, then you should immediately consult the doctor who delivered the baby for you.

Only she can tell if there is no infection or any other minor problems.

Generally, nowadays, the stitches may not be removed. It will get absorbed. and there is no necessity to remove it, if the specific thread is used to stitch.

But only your doctor knows about them and please consult her immediately.

Also, consult her and get the suggestions of do's and don'ts hereafter.
