Accepting the mistake itself shows your loyalty and discipline. Not everyone will have the gutts to accept and this itself proves your level of confidence. You are having a very good attitude and this attitude itself will make everyone in your family to understand about your mistake and accept you completely. More over, Jayanthi and everyone else had given you wonderful advise..........so, keep going..........to "make" a wonderful family in the nearest future.

So, it is not a HARD AND FAST RULE to tell all the things, which have happened before marriage, to the spouse.

    This might create unnecessary ILL-FEELINGS.

Let us be LOYAL to the spouse after marriage.

    Another psycological way...
Ok we are humans .. We will also have emotions.. To run a smooth family we have to suppress and ignore some of our identity our emotions. But supressing our emotions will not go of.. It is just get supressed. When the pressure is high coz of years of supression the blast will be very phenomenol.
For that what to do if you really want to let out of the anger on anybody especialy inlaws... When your emotions got hurt instead of yelling, arguing, loosing your temper .. Jus stay calm... This will happen in lot of situation is family potics.. Choose a activity... For me cooking is like meditation..any household activity.. Then in your mind recreate the argument scene, what all the opposite party talked etc etc.. And then you start your defending, arguing, anything in your mind... After you let out all yhe emotions your mind will be calm and heart will be lightened... During the next meet you will really see the difference.. Or even you wont even remember the incident and arguments and words. This is because you let all the emotions out.. So you subconsious mind forgets that incident... Or mostly the bitter part...
this is real.. And from my experience... Try this... You will never remember any bitterness in any relationship...

    Very well said Lakshmi.

Similar to your suggestion, we can try another solution, to let off our anger.

Either, we can talk in front of the mirror, letting off all our anger, imagining the opponent to be in the mirror.

Or, if others are present in the house, we can write down all our anger in a paper. And after a little while, when we read the contents written by us, our anger would have subsided considerably.

The main thing, after this should be, without forgetting, we should tear off that paper, written by us, and flush it out.

Nice solution (Writing & tearing) Jayanthi... usually my sister-in-law follow this practice & advise me to do like this. Really it works well.
