    Sculpt Your Face

Make-up is just as much about enhancing your features as it about camouflaging the flaws. With our contouring tricks learn how to make the best of your features whether its a broad forehead or thin lips. We have something for everybody.

When you feel the need to disguise a large forehead, use a blush, two shades darker than your natural skin tone, along your hairline. This helps cut the height of your forehead. Blunt bangs or lush, side swept ones also help cover up a particularly large forehead for a chic, glam look.

On a small forehead, use a lighter shade of blush along the hairline to create the illusion of length.

If you have extremely sparse eyebrow hair, first draw out the desired brow shape using a pencil, then use eyebrow filling powder in short strokes, so that it looks like natural hair.

In order to take the focus away from droopy eyes, use an eyeliner stroke that lifts towards the outer corner of your eye. Another option is to use individual lashes at the outer corners of your eyes.

To create the illusion of less space between wide-set eyes, use a shade of concealer darker than your skin. Apply it from the inner corner of your eyes to the sides of your nose.

If you have deep-set eyes, avoid using dark eye shadows as they add, additional depth to your eyes. Instead use bright colours like gold, bronze and champagne.

To make small eyes look bigger, use lighter shades of eye shadow. A white eyeliner pencil along your lash line and a hint of black eyeliner along the outer corners of your eyes is a great way to make your eyes look bigger.

Slim down a broad nose by using a foundation that is a shade darker than your skin tone and sweep it along the corners of your nose. Then add a stroke of lighter foundation down the bridge and blend well.

Do just the opposite for a long nose. Simply shade the tip of the nose and area around the nostrils with a darker shade to cut the length.

For a flat nose, apply highlighter down the centre of the nose, avoiding the sides.

One easy fix for most lip issues is to dab foundation all over your lip line, then, using a lip pencil, draw the desired shape. Darker lip colours make your lips look smaller. Shimmery gloss reflect light hence giving the illusion of a fuller mouth.

To camouflage chubby cheeks, suck your cheeks in and use a matte bronzer on the hollow of your cheeks. Follow with a shimmer blush on the apples of your cheeks.

To create the illusion of high cheekbones use a highlighter on the outer corner of your eye and on the tops of your cheeks.

Slim a double chin down by opting for a long, choppy shag with layers that softly curve in towards the chin and down along the neck.

To maximise a non-existent chin, opt for a short, blunt-style bob that opens up and highlights the area.
