1. Chew small pieces of ginger with salt
2. Have buttermilk with meals (avoid with dinner).
3. Drink peppermint tea or ginger tea.
4. Take probiotics
5. Add half a spoon of Ajwain/Anise to food while cooking. This will prevent gas formation.
6. Asafoetida/hing is very helpful for indigestion. Add a pinch of asafoetida to buttermilk and drink it. If butter milk is not available have it with warm water!

Not advised for pregnant and breastfeeding women!
