    my 5 month old girl having cough - pls help

    hi everyone,

    my 5 month old daughter is having cough for a week... had been to the doc. but still cough pertains.... pls help me with some home remedies....

    Hi Teenacharles, children will be medicated with light doses of medicines only. All of a sudden, the cough can not be stopped. Strong doses of medicines are not prescribed for infants. please follow your doctor's instruction in this regard. thank you!

    Hi friend.

    You can boil little water with few ajwain seeds and make the baby have it. Also if the baby is having outside milk ensure to put few seeds of ajwain while boiling the milk this prevent him from getting cough.

    Massage with mustard oil (around 5-10 tsp.) heated with crushed garlic and ajwain seeds on the child’s chest, neck, throat, forehead and head. You can store this mixture (cooled and strained) in an airtight bottle for later use.
