    Homemade Cleansers for Dry Skin

    HOMEMADE CLEANSERS FOR DRY SKIN

Dust, perspiration, grease, stale make up, dirt, and bacteria collect on your skin and make your skin prone to many diseases; this is why your skin requires a through cleansing routine. But, often many people with dry skin tend to skip regular cleansing as they are concerned about drying out their skin. If you too are concerned about this issue then opt for homemade cleansers that are mild on your skin.
The best way to ensure you know exactly what you are putting on your skin, and into your body, is to start making your own skincare products at home. Have a look at few and pick out the one you like.

    Yogurt and Honey Cleanser
Yogurt is a very good cleanser for dry skin. Take one tablespoon of yogurt and mix one teaspoon of honey in it. Apply it on your face and let it stand for about two minutes and then wash with cold water. Tone and moisturise as usual.
Vitamin A and Vitamin E Skin Cleanser
Take half cup of warm water and add one tablespoon of honey. Now open one capsule of vitamin A and one capsule of vitamin E. Add to the solution. Mix well. Apply immediately all over the face, neck and forehead. Wash off after two minutes with normal tap water.
Honey, Egg yolk and Almond Cleanser
Take the yolk of one egg and add one teaspoon of honey. Beat it properly. Now add the paste of 5 to 7 almonds. Mix well. Apply it all over the forehead, face and neck. Let it dry and then wash with lukewarm water. This remedy is especially good for very dry skin.

    Olive Oil Facial Cleanser
Take 2 teaspoons liquid face soap or baby wash, 2 tablespoons water, 2 tablespoons glycerine and 1/2 cup olive oil. Pour all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until you get a thick, smooth and creamy paste. Pour this paste in a pump bottle and take out the desired quantity whenever needed. Gently massage into your neck area, face, eyelids and eyelashes for about one minute. Remove with a warm washcloth. Rinse your face with lukewarm water. Keep for up to a year.
    Apple and Yogurt Cleanser
Take 1 slice of peeled apple, 2 tablespoons plain yogurt, 1 teaspoon olive oil and 1 teaspoon lemon or orange juice. Combine all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until you get a very smooth paste. Apply it on your face and massage gently, wait for about 5 minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water. Refrigerate unused mixture for up to 3 days.

Jojoba and Lemon Facial Cleansing Cream
Take 1 tbsp. beeswax and melt it in a saucepan, using low heat. Now take 3 tbsp. jojoba oil in a glass bowl and beat, using a hand mixer, for about 5 minutes or until it reaches a creamy consistency. Next, take 1 tbsp. witch hazel and 1 tbsp. lemon juice in another saucepan and heat until warm, then stir in 1/8 tsp. borax to dissolve. Let all the ingredients cool a bit and then mix them all in a big bowl. Finish off by adding 6 drops of lemon essential oil in the mix. Store in cool, dry place in an airtight container. Use as your normal face wash.
