    a huge task on a day to day basis.

    lovely post..... suma....

    1) never underestimate your child.
    2) never say "no" to him....

    there is a small thing to share here. in america, when a child touches the candle, they dont say "no.dont" they allow him to touch. when he touches, he realises... he will never do so again (learnt by himself)
    (you may opine, that mother's care is not there !!! child is left alone !! )

    in india, the mothers jump from earth to cosmos.... and shout "no,no,no" the child gets scared by no.... he never understnads... but mother's care is there... child is left confused)

    3) allow his interests to develop.
    4) never froce your viewws on him.
    5) never compare
    6) let him self analyse and come put with facts...
    7) let all his latent talents come out in good exposure....
    8) automatically his slf esteem will shoot up....
    9) allow him to express his opinion (be it right or wrong)
    10) teach him frankness
