May i know where is the Garbarakshambigai temple in tamilnadu.

How to go there and stay?

I am getting treatment for infertility. One of my friend said to go to the temple.

Garbarakshambigai temple is a well-known temple located at Thirukarukavur in Tanjore district of TamilNadu, India. The goddess Garbarakshambigai (Goddess Parvathi) is believed to help in safe pregnancy and child birth. Women who are awaiting to get pregnant also come to this temple to pray and get a baby. For those that are pregnant pray for a safe and normal delivery.

This temple is about 20 kms from both Kumbakonam and Tanjavur.

Boarding & Lodging:
Excepting for a couple of petty shops that also serve tiffin, there isn’t much you can get. Both, the temple and private lodging is also available there for reasonable cost. Facility provided by them also good.

How to pray to Garbarakshambigai to have a safe delivery? whether i have to go to the temple in person or any other option?

An Archana will be made in the name of you and your husband. And then they will be giving you blessed castor oil. You hav to apply that on your stomach to have a safe delivery.

You can also recite the mantra. Garbarakshambigai Sloka for Safe Pregnancy and Delivery of baby - Hey sangara Shamarahara.... which is posted in the previous post.

You dont want to go in person even your husband or your parents can do instead of you.

also there is this temple around kumbakonam... called THIRUVEEZHIMAZHALAI..

we all know garbarakshambikai amma temple where the god saves the karu or so called formed embryo

but thiruveezhimazhalai is specially the poojai sthalam for doing parihara to get concieved. recently my parents visited the temple and told me the sthala varalaru..

so friends those who are going to garbarakhambikai amma temple plz try to visit this one too as all these come in one direction..

just a suggestion..after all we all want divinity blessing rite...
