Healthy bread upma recipe

- Tiny pieces of whole wheat bread (5 slices of bread are enough to fill a bowl)
- Chopped green chillies
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped tomato
- tablespoon of ginger
- 8 to 10 curry leaves
- 2 tablespoon of oil
- tablespoon of mustard seeds
- tablespoon of cumin powder
- 1/4th tablespoon of hing (asafoetida)
- Chopped coriander to garnish

1. Heat your oil in the pan and let mustard seeds and cumin seeds sizzle in piping hot oil.

2. Once settled, add chopped onions, green chillies and curry leaves. Stir fry them nicely.

3. Now add chopped tomatoes to it and cook it thoroughly for 5 minutes or so.

4. Now throw in the bread pieces. Cook only for a minute or two as you wouldn't want your bread to turn very soft.

5. Serve right away!
