    Jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight evenly throughout your whole body.

    Some more tips to reduce your belly

    • Be very careful while making your choice of food. Avoid eating fried foods or foods high on calories.
    • Drink lots of water.
    • Skip heavy meals at night.
    • Avoid eating small bites of chocolates, cookies, etc., in between meals.Avoid carbonated or fizzy drinks since they are high on calories.
    • Avoid sitting at one place for long duration of time and day-dreaming. Involve yourself in some or the other physical work and keep yourself busy.

    Hi Sai,

    To Reduce the weight

    Do Surya Namaskar daily

    12 1


    1. Stand straight with your feet together and palms folded at the chest .
    Your toes can be slightly apart but the heels should be as close as possible.

    2. Raise your hands above your head and stretch back as much as possible to bend your spine backwards while inhaling air. your abdomen should be stretched to the maximum limit and your biceps shd be touching ur ears with ur hands parallel.

    3. Bend forward and touch ur toes with ur fingertips. Don't bend your knees.
    when u do this ur stomach is compressed , so exhale.

    4. Now take ur right leg and stretch it while balancing it on the toe and keep ur left leg folded infront of ur chest. Keep ur palms straight on both sides of the left foot on the ground. Look up and Inhale.

    5. While exhaling, straighten the left leg out such that both feet are together and your back is straight, not curved. Make sure that your gaze is on the floor and your elbows are not bent.

    6. Slowly bring your knees to rest on the floor, then your chest, followed by the forehead. Do not rest the hips on the floor. This might be difficult initially but with practice, you will master the art.

    7. raise your head and upper body, resting your palms on the ground. Your gaze should be straight ahead. Be cautious not to hold your breath while in this pose.

    8. get into an inverted V-position keeping your knees and elbows straight; rest the soles and palms flat in the ground and allow the head to hang down freely.

    9. Fold the right leg from the knee and bring it close to the chest, resting it near the hands. When doing this, the left leg should be stretched out behind you

    10. Bring the left leg in front, rest it next to the right foot and rest your hands on the ground.

    11.Inhale deeply and get back to the standing position. Stand on your feet together, and stretch out your hands above the head, keeping the elbows straight. Then bend your spine backwards.

    12. oin the palms of both hands together in front of the chest in the namaskar position. Spend a few moments absorbing the energy of the sun and prepare your mind for the next round. Relax and stretch your hands out by your side. This completes one round of Surya Namaskar.

    Benefits of Surya Namaskar

    Precautions to take:-


    1. In Sun Salutation, forward bending asanas are strictly prohibited for those who suffer from ‘waist pain’. Though back-bending asanas can be practiced if felt comfortable.
    2. In the beginning Surya Namaskar must be practiced under the guidance of a experienced yoga teacher.

    Some Home Tips for Reducing Belly

    • Avoid Foods such as sweets, sweetened drinks, carbohydrate and oil rich foods which are increasing body fat.
    • Add more wheat products than rice products. Use green gram and horse gram to reduce your body fat
    • Mix 2 spoon of honey with a glass of hot water. and drink it. It will reduce your weight
    • Take one glass of water every hour from the time you get up to reduce belly fat.
    • Reduce your salt intake and milk based products such as ice-creams and butter.
    • Have two fruits in the morning and one fruit every evening to reduce belly fat.
    • Use a lot of cinnamon, ginger and pepper in your recipes.
    • Avoid the afternoon siesta to avoid slowing of basal metabolic rate and burn more calories.
    • Massage the belly with lavanthailam, known to be effective in disintegrating stubborn belly fat. Wash it off after 15 minutes with warm water.
    • Drink a glass of warm water when you get up. This is very effective for reducing belly fat.
    • Stay away from non-vegetarian foods
    • Do Exercises regularly such as swimming, walking, and jogging. This will help you to reduce your belly fat.

    Dear Sairam rajeswari, you have brought out such an interesting topic on which all women like us are having deep interest. by bringing out this topic, lot of useful suggestions have come out and there by not only you but every body got the answer collectively in the same post. thanks for bringing out such an useful questions and also my sincere request is to start yogasanam idea that is suryanamaskar with the help of guru only. dont start on your own. join any yoga classes in your area learn the tips from the guruji only. sorry if this suggestion curtailed your interest. but yoga is to be learnt through guruji only. thanks
