    Can have Sorakkai Kootu and eat with rice. This is a very good recipe for reducing weight.

    There are many recipes that help in loosing weight.

    * Almond and apricot biscotti
    * Apples with dip
    * Avocado dip
    * Chickpea hummus
    * Chickpea polenta with olives
    * Chipotle spiced shrimp
    * Cranberry spritzer
    * Crispy potato skins
    * Eggplant with toasted spices
    * Fresh fruit kebabs
    * Fresh spring rolls with shrimp
    * Fresh tomato crostini
    * Ginger-marinated grilled portobello mushrooms
    * Grilled pineapple
    * Hummus
    * Pita wedges with green olive tapenade
    * Shrimp marinated in lime and Dijon mustard
    * Smoked trout spread
    * Sweet and spicy snack mix
    * White bean dip

    This worked for me.... (not drastically but gradually)... but it is healthy and not much of work...


    Barley - 1/2 Kg
    Jawarasi - 1/2 Kg
    Jeera - 1tbsp

    Fry each of them separately (no oil).... and grind together.....

    Everyday in the morning first thing have a glass of warm skimmed (avin blue packet is fine in India) milk with 2 or 3 tspns of this powder and sugar (if needed)..... no need to boil.... just mix directly.... value addition is it is good to taste as well...

    You will notice that you are using the loo often (that is becoz of the barley).
