    Reducing 5kg in 2 months really good.. Slow and steady is very important in reducing weight. All the best wisteria...

    don't worry about past 4month exercise plan gives no result, it will happen.

    I will post my today menu and exercise plan, today is the second day of my plan.

    Today my menu's
    Green tea -7.00 Am
    milk-11.30AM
    chappathi (2 or 3)-1.00PM
    green tea -3.00Pm
    tea-4.30PM
    oats-7.30PM

    Water -10 to 12 glasses

    Walking - 2hours.

    Hi Westeria,
    Good morning.
    Today's plan:-
    6.30am -Tea with sugarfree (done)
    9.30 am - Breakfast - vermicelli Upma(150g)
    Plain milk 100ml(done)
    11.30am - 2 karela(bitterguard) with pepper+1 cup hot water(having)
    2.30 pm Lunch 1 cup rice + sambar + spinach currywith less oil
    + 1 cup buttermilk
    4.45 - Going out for 1 hr brisk walk
    6.00pm Tea with 2 marie biscuits
    9.30pm 2 phulka roti +small cup mixed dal + cucumbar salad
    10.00 pm Relaxing walk for 20 mins if possible(coz that is my arattai
    time with neighbours)
    11.00 pm 100ml milk with 2 dates

    My sugar levels are too high(140 fasting & 270P.P.) so, i take bitterguard in place of salads,, once the sugar comes to control, that will be replaced with salads.

    My dieting plan differ for different days. I am a Pure vegetarian. I am not taking any medicines for sugar control. Diabetic for past 7 months, since no big ailments attacked till now, i am taking sugarfree as substitute to sugar, and never touches sweet varieties. In special occasions, i do fasting with juice diets to avoid temptations of sweet eatings!!!
    If i find time in morning, i exercise with some asanas. My weight was 84 at mid-may. Reduced 5 kg with no diet control, only with walk(30mins daily) and exercise(4days a weak for 40 mins). Now, i hav increased my timing to 1 hr walk, lets see!

    I saw your menu's and exercise plan.
    It seems good.
    poorna, take care of your sugar levels.

    Today menu's
    Chappathi - 4
    tea -11.30
    cabbage,beans,carrots salad -1.00
    green tea - 3.00
    tea -5.00
    oats - 7.30

    water - 8 to 10 glasses

    walking - one hour.

    Every days your diet plan changes means change your food items that's it!
    without diet plan you reduced 5kgs, it is good.
    you shouldn't eat sugar and sweet items that the reason you reduced 5kgs i think so.
    Am also always eat sweets and chocolates a lot, now only i controlled myself.
    that's why my weight is maintaining the same weight.

    Don't think about different days diet plan is vary, If you statisfy what you eat that is good.

    Today evening only i go to walk for one hour, i try to walk 2houra this is my everyday exercise plan.

    Hey poorna am also vegetarian.

    May i know one thing how many days once you check your weight!
    I decide every 10days once.

    Hi,
    I think weight check once in a week is good to motivate us,, i strictly stopped sweets intake, after detecting diabetic only. Before that i ate a lot of chocolates, jam varieties, creame biscuits, which added my weight about 24kgs in a 2 years.
    I had a viral fever in feb2011, which took 20 days to recover. After that i steadily gained weight, from59 kg i became 64 at july'11. Was okay by my gynae, as i was underweigt and weak at that times.
    But after that, i didnt turn up and steadily reached 83.5 to get gifted with diabetics,, so now THIS IS TIME TO REDUCE, it seems. But till last month, i was confident of loosing 10 kg a month by walk and exercise. After some days, realised soem dietery habits to be changed.
    My problem is if i feel hunger, i wont stop at limit. At te same time i will skip breakfast and lunch and take only dinner at night, without taking solid intake the wholeday. This habit resulted in weight gain as per my doctor.
    Realisng this fact of not to skip B'fast, now sticking to time plan. Will tell after a week with weight.

    I prefer to keep change in diets, considering about the variety and taste,, preferably no oil,,, as same type of repeating stuff will be big boredom.
    What u do? will u stick to same plan everyday? or any changes?
