    i have another doubt sana and other if anyone knows pls tell me. can i try for protein foods alone for weight loss? is that is good and effective?

    todays menu,

    wheat dosa - 2
    skimmed milk coffee
    rice - kootu
    nighht planned for ragi dosa/adai

    todays menu,

    morning idli - 3
    lunch - sambar rice
    dinner- planned for wheat dosa

    from today going to start yoga.

    Hi FRIENDS,
    Ungha conversations ellam pathen...I have a diet plan which I have been following for 6-7 yrs...and it worked for me in reducing and maitaining my weight.
    Morning breakfast:(at 8:00am)
    1 or 1&1.5 cup oats with little milk(Skimmed) or with water..
    Or
    2 slices of multigrain /wheat bread with boiled egg(1)
    with this coffee/ tea..again with skimmed milk.

    By 11:00am
    Eat a cup of steamed veg

    By 12:30/1:00 Lunch
    2 chapathis, 1 cup of curry, 1 cup of salad( i usually take few slices of tomato and cucumbers), 1 cup of rice(same cup as the curry),1 cup yogurt..

    By 3:00pm
    Eat 1 cup of snacks..preferably sprouted beans(for this time Sundal is a good choice)

    Dinner 7/7:30pm
    2 chapathis, 1 cup curry, 1cup rice, 1 cup salad, 1 cup yogurt....here if you want to avoid rice just add one more chapathi..so I ate 3 instead of 2..

    By night 9/9:30
    1 cup milk before bed.

    One important thing I followed is drink lots of warm/hot water....whenever a craving arises for something to eat drinking water esp hot water is a must...
    A good 20 mins fast walk/ exercise is very effective.

    Don't skip your meal. Breakfast is the main part of daily routine. I do eat a lot salad of unprocessed vegetables.
