For many of us, it is an all - too familiar scenario: you're sleeping peacefully when a painful sensation suddenly pierces your leg, jolting you awake. Its Leg cramp.


Below are 5 tips to help prevent it:


Potassium intake is very important - consume at least two bananas to keep

Leg cramps at bay




Drink 6 yo 8 glasses of water daily. This will prevent dehydration, which may

play a role in the cramping.




Take out some time throughout the day to do leg stretches. Stretch the

Muscles that are cramped but do it gently.



Ride a Cycle for a few minutes before Bed time. This activity can help

prevent cramps from developing during the night.


Massaging the affected area with Eucalyptus or Lavender oil helps s lot

in easing the pain.
