Almonds are considered to be a safe snack during pregnancy. They contain a high amount of fat, but it is monounsaturated fat that will not raise your cholesterol levels.

Avoid almonds if there is a chance you could be allergic to any kind of tree nut.

. For centuries almonds are associated with the ability to boost ones power to concentrate and hence eat them to get an intelligent and smart baby.

You can also pair them with dried fruit and whole grain cereal
You can also try pairing almonds with fruit and yogurt

If in doubt, you may even consult your gynaecologist before you eat them, since she is your best adviser.

Taking almonds which have been soaked in water for the whole night is also a good idea. But remember not to overeat them, since excess of everything is bad!
