Decorating with Popcorns

If you are tired of eating popcorns try something new: decorate your room with them. This is how you can do it.

All you need is:

1. A thorny stem of a plant or a bush.

2. Popcorns.

3. A bowl.

Step1: Pick up a thorny stem from a plant or a bush - if it has leaves, remove them.

Step2: Put a popcorn on the tip of each thorn carefully. Avoid pricking yourself.

Step3: Put some mud in a bowl and fix your stem in it.

Use this popcorn arrangement to decorate your room.

You can also paint the popcorns to make them look brighter. Once the popcorns lose their colour or begin to fall, use something else its stead. Just do it!

Painting Pots

We cannot paint the walls of our house but we can definitely paint the pots in our house.

All you need is:

1. Poster paints.

2. Paint brush.

Step 1: Pick up a pot and remove any dust from it using a soft cloth or a brush.

Step 2: If you have earthern pots, give them a coating of colour that you think would match with the colour of your walls.

Step 3: Let this base colour dry. Now you can paint a variety of patterns on top to decorate your pots.

If your pots are cemented and polished, you can directly make patterns on them. It's quite interesting and at the same time colourful and attractive too.

Art on the Broomstick

The things you need:

1. An old broomstick
2. Adhesive
3. Blade
4. Thermocol sheet
5. Black chart paper
6. Scissors
7. Pencil, eraser, ruler and sharpener

Step 1: Stick the black chart paper on the thermocol sheet.

Step 2: Draw an object or a landscape.

Step 3: Slit the end of the broomsticks. Cut them into desired lengths and paste them on the picture, close to each other. See the lovely golden, ripple-like effect you have succeeded in creating.

If you wish to paint the picture, go ahead.
