  • Get your facials done one week before the wedding.
  • Always go for a lip-liner that is the same shade as your lipstick. Otherwise, you might end up with a lip-line that is too noticeable. At the same time, always stick to long-lasting lipsticks, for your wedding.
  • Use a very resistant lipstick as you will kiss a lot of people. Make sure it fits your eye and hair color, same as the lip liner. For a longer durability, use balm, lacquer or primer, and apply the lipstick with a lip brush. Apply two layers for better resistance.
  • Never ever forget to apply the foundation on your neck, back, ears and other exposed areas of the body as well. Otherwise, your face will look painted on and your beauty - artificial.
  • Avoid pink tone foundation. It will make your face appear pale in photographs. Also when you apply foundation make sure you apply in all exposed areas , that is your neck, hand and back. For an oily skin choose a matte foundation that is water based.
  • If you want to use hair color refresh your hair color a week before the wedding. Spend a day at the spa to de-stress your self.
  • While applying make-up, blend it well. Make sure there is no visible lines. In case you are using translucent powder, for a long-lasting make-up, avoid patting too much as it will make your skin look dry and flaky.
  • After a complete make up, dust a little face powder as it will help the make up stay longer.
  • Bridal make up should be such that it looks beautiful and sober and not overdone.
  • Do use a bronzing powder to warm your skin tone.
  • When choosing a fragrance for your wedding day, wear one of your favourites. This is no time for surprises! Layer the perfume to create a magical aura of scented pleasure.

some more tips,

  1. Cover under eye dark circles, wrinkles and spots with the help of lighter shade foundation. The foundation should be applied in an outward circular direction over the face.

  3. Choose a natural or true color for eye shadow and avoid bright/neon colors.
  4. Apply waterproof mascara. It will keep your eye makeup as it is from the tears and sweat.
  5. Don’t go out in the sun rays after your bridal makeup is done, if required to go then apply sunscreen lotion.
  6. Do facial, scrubbing or facial mask at least one month before the wedding day.
  7. Keep lipstick, powder and the mascara along with little things such as hair and safety pins, lip gloss, paper tissue so that touch ups can be done whenever required.
  8. For soft and glossy look prefer lip liner that can be blend easily with lipstick.
  9. Do not get trial with new products as new treatments or changes can damage your skin.
  10. Treat acne and tone up your skin prior to 6 months of your wedding day.

well there is so much to do about bridal make up...but greatly depends on how you like it to be...
here are some dramatic tips....
Every bride should use foundation to some degree. Foundation and concealer are the most important aspect to looking good in photographs. Even the tiniest blemishes can show up in your photographs. Also, since many of us don't have perfect skin, these products allow for a flawless look.If you never wear makeup at least consider using a little foundation - it really helps even out your skin tone. Using a stick or cake foundation is a good choice. There are also many great light liquid formulas out on the market today. You can't go wrong. Applied with a sponge, coverage can be as heavy or light as you wish. Better yet, choose a mineral foundation for optimal results. Before application, make sure you moisturize with an oil-free moisturizer before applying foundation, especially for those with oily skin.

Keep the eyeshadow natural and defined. A nice golden brown works well on most people. Facials can help rejuvenate her skin. There are even good beauty products that the beautician can recommend.
