To control this digestive distress, it is suggested to take more fruits and vegetables. Take less processed foods. The blocked stool in the constipation problem gives a high hand in infecting the urinary tract.

Anatomical Abnormalities- Some children who are suffering from UTIs are suffering from one or the other abnormalities of the urinary tract. This involves an obstruction that prevent all the urine from moving along the urinary tract as it should do normally. Some kids, who have the problem of a frequent call to urinate, have a kidney that is not of a normal shape. There are also some children who have an anatomical problem in which some of their urine flows backwards. Kids also develop an abnormality when they often wait for too long to urinate.

Genetics- Children of the parents who have the problem of UTI are more likely to suffer from the problem of urinary infections. Such kids should be taught to check out that whether they are suffering from some pain or a burning feeling while passing out the urine.

Poor Clothing- If you wear tight clothing, wet bathing suits, sweaty underwear and nylon underwear, then you are more likely to suffer from the problem of UTIs. Children should wear cotton clothing to reduce the risk of this problem. They should also be taught to change their underwear when they come from a hefty work out or a playing session as a sweaty underwear can cause more irritation to UTI problem.

Bubble baths- Taking bubble baths and using irritating cleansing agents can expose the urethra to the infection causing bacteria. Children should use a mild soap and they must avoid a bubble bath.

Waiting long to urinate- Children who delay going to the bathroom and urinating are more prone to the risk of the problem of UTI. They should be made to learn that they must urinate as soon as they feel the urge of passing off the urine.

Lack of Circumcision- Infant males of three months of age or less have a higher risk of UTI. So it is important to take care of them when they urinate as they are unable to change their status and may sit for long hours with a wet underwear.

One of the most common causes of UTI in girls is poor toileting hygiene. If a young girl wipes her urine from back to front instead of front to back, then it can infect her urethra with the bacteria that has moved from her anus. So, these girls should be taught to wipe their urine in the right manner, e.g from front to back. So guys, these are the various causes of UTI. Do consider them to prevent this problem and to live with a healthy body structure.

Many children suffer with this problem, mainly due to the unhealthy toilets in the school, because of which, they do not pass urine in the schools.
