Hi mathavi, Welcome to Penmai.com...

Here are some home remedies for craked heels

  • Wash your feet carefully, every time you come from outside.
  • Exfoliate periodically. Use a foot scrubber to scrub the dead skin and brush away the dead skin with a small brush meant for feet. Rubbing a pumice stone is also helpful in clearing the dead skin.
  • Once you have cleaned your feet, apply a foot cream or petroleum jelly.
  • Try walking on the grass barefoot early every morning. This exercise rejuvenates the feet and improves the eyesight.
  • Always remember to wear shoes that you are comfortable in. Avoid wearing tight shoes or high heels if your heels are hurting.

Hi Mathavi, try these simple steps at home, they will surely help.

• Drink more water to combat dryness and dehydration, which can cause cracked feet. • Get regular pedicures so that your feet are clean, healthy, and smooth.
• Avoid open-heeled or high-heeled shoes, as these can make cracked feet drier and more painful.
• Soak your feet in warm water with liberal amounts of baby oil. Pat dry and surround them in plastic wrap so that they stay moist.
• Try an oil-based moisturizing cream. Look for ones with vitamin E and coconut milk.
• Never use a razor blade or knife on cracked feet.
• Try immersing feet in warm water and honey for 15 minutes. Honey works wonders for treating cracked feet.
