For soft skin, massage your body with a mixture of coconut oil and scented oils like lavender or rosemary.

Mix 2 teaspoon glycerin, 2 tsps lemon juice , two tsps milk cream. apply this lotion at least twice a week if you have dry skin.

Honey can be used as an antiseptic to cure dry skin.

Make a paste with egg yolk, olive oil and lemon juice . Apply it on the neck, hands and legs. wash it out after 10 mts.

It is important that you buy products with natural or organic ingredients whenever possible. The skin on our bodies acts like a sponge, absorbing around 60% of what we put on it.Try exfoliating your skin twice a week. Many people with dry skin are actually quite daunted by exfoliating products.

Since dry skin is normally handled from home, there are a lot of home remedies for dry skin out there. A lot of them just include adding moisturizer to your skin. Even if you use a moisturizer, you may notice that you have to do it more than once. Sometimes doing it just once a day is not enough. When it comes to bath time, use warm water (not hot), and try to limit your shower time to about 15 minutes or less. It also would not hurt to not use any kind of harsh soaps. These dry out your skin a lot. Try using cleansing creams instead. If none of this is working, then you might want to use a humidifier. It may even be possible that you need to wear some clothing that is going to be kind to your skin. Such things like natural fibers and cottons are good. Avoid things like wool!

You can use vasaline on hands and legs.. Also after bath, on the damp skin, rub few drops of Sweet Almond oil. This is the best remedy for dry skin. I tell this on my own experience. Do try this.
